ACTIVITIES OF THE UNION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDUSTRY
CONSTANT COMMUNICATION
Creation of conditions and platforms for sustainable communication of union members to exchange information, ideas and solutions aimed at solving urgent problems and needs of industry members, improving performance results
COOPERATION PROJECTS
Facilitation and participation in the creation of joint cooperation projects, provision of advisory and management assistance in the creation of strategic alliances of industry participants in value-added chains
COOPERATION WITH THE AUTHORITY
Improving business communication with local self-government bodies, conducting activities aimed at helping in the development and implementation of projects aimed at strengthening regional budgets, improving business conditions and solving social and economic problems of the region
ADVOCACY ACTIVITY
Carrying out constant monitoring of the legislative and regulatory environment of the industry for operational information support of business, and, if necessary, the implementation of advocacy projects, including the development of proposals and legislative initiatives
EXPORT PROMOTION
Facilitating the realization of the export potential of union members and the internationalization of value-added chains, providing assistance to union members in finding partners, using the union's partnerships in national and international communities of industry associations
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Conducting educational and training events for representatives of small businesses aimed at increasing the professional and qualification level of their employees, by involving representatives of the academic environment as well as active experienced practitioners
PROMOTION OF THE INDUSTRY
Promotion of entrepreneurial activity based on poultry farming and related areas of production and commercial activity, holding relevant informational and educational companies among interested parties
ATTRACTION OF INVESTMENTS
Providing assistance to business representatives in finding and attracting investments, assisting projects of union participants in accessing international and national aid programs

History
The public union "Interregional Union of Poultry Breeders and Fodder Producers of Ukraine" (hereinafter - MSPU) was founded in November 2012 as a result of the reformation of the Kharkiv Regional Association of the Poultry Industry "Kharkivptahoprom". GS MSPU is part of the all-Ukrainian associations "Union of Poultrymen of Ukraine" and "Union of Feed Producers of Ukraine", which unite large businesses and vertically integrated agricultural holdings in the field of poultry farming and feed production. In March 2013 state registration of the Union as a public sectoral non-profit organization was carried out. In July 2020, a new Development Strategy Union for 2020-2023 was adopted. Members of the GS "MSPKU" are small and medium-sized poultry enterprises; hatchery and poultry stations, leading manufacturers of compound feed, feed additives and premixes, veterinary companies and specialized research and educational institutions Geography of the Union's activity: Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Donetsk, Luhansk, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa regions. The activity of GS "MSPKU" is aimed at ensuring the competitive advantages of the production and financial activities of the members of the Union, obtaining marketing advantages in the assortment and sales of products, ensuring the maximum profitability of the business. The main task of the GS "MSPKU" is to represent and protect the interests of small and medium-sized businesses in the field of poultry and fodder production through the formation and implementation of a policy combining state and non-state measures to protect members of the Union. For this purpose, the Union provides all types of methodical, consulting, legal and representative assistance to the members and partners of the Union, both in state authorities and in other institutions and organizations. The development plans of the Public Union "Interregional Union of Poultry Breeders and Feed Producers of Ukraine" provide for the further improvement of the organizational, legal and economic conditions in which small and medium-sized producers of poultry products operate, as well as the system of providing methodical, informational, organizational and consulting assistance not only to members of the Union, but and small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of poultry farming and fodder production, including in matters of export diversification and attraction of investments and innovations.
