On October 13, during the Ukraine Livestock Summit 2023 in Kyiv, an important event was the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation and interaction between the Interregional Union of Poultry and Feed Producers of Ukraine and the European-Ukrainian Council for Cooperation and Development.
This initiative defines a new stage in the development of the poultry industry and fodder production in Ukraine, laying the foundations for large-scale cooperation and interaction with European partners.
Within the framework of the signed Memorandum, a number of key areas of joint work were agreed upon:
Development and search for sources of funding for development projects of poultry farmers and fodder producers of Ukraine.
Expansion of the network of contacts of poultry farmers and fodder producers of Ukraine on the territory of the common countries of the EU, Great Britain, and the United States, including through public and joint events.
Work on increasing the competence of participants in the poultry industry and fodder production of Ukraine in the field of understanding and implementation of EU values and attracting funds.
Preparation of the financing scenario for pilot projects, negotiations with potential funding organizations or organizations funding Ukrainian projects.
Conducting practical training courses for small and medium-sized businesses in the field of poultry farming and fodder production of Ukraine.
This cooperation aims not only to ensure the stability of the industry, but also to introduce new standards, attract financial resources and ensure the exchange of experience between Ukrainian and European partners.
